Glove and Hankie Quilt

This might be the most unusual top I have finished to date!  The woman who stitched it (all pieced and assembled by hand) had searched for someone to hand quilt this top.  A friend recommended me and so after visiting with her and showing her my work, she agreed to the machine quilting.

The finish is actually better than I anticipated.  I let each square speak to me and guide the design.  Here are a few detailed pictures.  I dropped it off today and she was very pleased.  That's what matters!!!
