Quilting Vintage Linens Presentation

Let's face it, I'm not a great blogger! I'm much better with quick, daily posts on Facebook or Instagram, but I keep a website for those who aren't on social media and also for information on my classes, lectures and products. This last year has been a doozey, to say the least! I've done a few in person lectures this summer and have a few more to go this year, but next year I'll be retiring from traveling and teaching. I'll still be here online and I'll definitely keep creating, but I've enjoyed being at home SO much and in this future of uncertainty, this feels like the right place to be. I hope to do some retreats here and there, plus a few small workshops, if possible, here in Lawrence, KS.

I've been asked many times over the last year if I do ZOOM presentations and the answer, unfortunately, is no. However, I had a great idea yesterday!! A few years ago I did a presentation for Handi Quilter on vintage quilting and you can find it HERE on YouTube. If you have internet connection at your guild and you would like a FREE presentation for your group, you might enjoy this video. It would be a lot like a demonstration I would do in a shop on the longarm. My techniques can also work on a domestic machine and when I teach in a workshop or retreat, we would be using regular sewing machines.

My quilting and sewing life these days has morphed into creating vintage pincushions and that seems to be my complete focus these days. I've had SUCH fun over the last 2 years making and selling them and I really don't see an end in sight. I think most crafters and quilters create by mood and this pincushion addiction has definitely taken over!

Have a wonderful day everyone!
